On April 16, 2015 Skal Boston members were hosted for their monthly meeting at Bostons  Seaport Hotel by President, Managing Director   David O’Shaughnessy, Marianna Accomando, VP of Sales and Jim Carmody. Executive Chef, Richard Rayment prepared a wonderful cocktail reception and luncheon served by the banqueting staff headed by Julia Corbin, Director of Banquets and Elizabeth Dipple, Banquet Manager. Wonderful raffle and auction items raised $895 for our Skal Charities. Trish Berry, General Manager of the Battery Wharf Hotel and Tim Colleran, Director Client Management were pinned as new members. On April 14 in Washington DC,  the American Hotel & Lodging Association presented their annual awards.  This years winner for Outstanding General Manager of the year, small property was awarded to Dan Donahue, General Manager of Boston’s Lenox Hotel. Another Boston property won the Special Event Category for their “Winter on the Wharf” program.
