June event at Fenway Park’s 521 Overlook was a home run!
June’s event at the 521 Overlook at Fenway Park was a home run with a massive turnout to enjoy the newly opened space adjacent to Fenway Park. We were treated to Fenway Park’s best, thanks to Casey and the team at Aramark, and Carrie Campbell from the Red Sox. Guests snacked on lobster rolls, Fenway franks, chef-staffed carving stations and no trip to the ballpark is complete without some ice cream. The 521 Overlook is a new, 7,000 square-foot venue located in centerfield that offers sweeping views of Fenway Park. April’s Meeting set for the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club

Many thanks to Mr. Carlos Bueno and the superb team at The Newbury Boston for hosting an impeccable event on March 17. The beautifully restored and reimagined luxury hotel at the intersection of Newbury and Arlington Streets, where the bustle of the Back Bay is your playground and the idyllic Boston Public Garden your front yard. We pinned four new members to our group and welcomed countless guests. July Member Event at Lawn On D was enjoyed by all!
Over 60 members and guests attended our July monthly Skål Boston club meeting at the Lawn on D yesterday. The team at Rebel Catering and the MCCA took outstanding care of everyone in attendance. We enjoyed a champagne toast, great food and signature cocktails with beautiful weather. Raffle tickets sold quickly yesterday with prizes ranging from RT tickets to Provincetown with Bay State Cruises, an overnight at the Boston Park Plaza, an overnight at the Lenox, front row tickets to a Sox game, fuzzy friends from the New England Aquarium, passes to Legoland and more! Skål International to win the World’s Leading Tourism Association Award
Uzakrota Global Travel Awards Has Announced the Global Winners for the Travel and Tourism Industry – 2020 Uzakrota Travel Awards – the global initiative to recognize and reward excellence in travel and tourism – unveiled the 2020 winners of its World Leading categories yesterday. It has been announced that Skål International has won the World’s Leading Tourism Association Category among eight other associations that were nominated for this category. After registration between 18th and 24th January 2021, the voting began on January 25, lasted until midnight on February 5, 2021. Walter served the last 29 years as a concierge at the Four Seasons Boston. Whatever our Skal Boston Chapter raises during our event will be given to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Massachusetts Chapter in Walter’s name.
